I am very pleased with the awning appearance and apparent quality of the fabric and redesign of the supporting hardware. However I have had the awning only 2 months and one of the lifting handles has broken. Dometic will not replace the handle unless I take the unit to an authorized service to verify the problem. The replacement part cost less than $15.00. Compare this cost with dismantling my unit from it's permanent location and driving 60 miles round trip (fuel $4.19) to have it inspected. I told Camping World just to send me the part and I would absorb the cost. After explaining the situation to them they sent it at no cost. Thank you Camping World. *****
